Nick Brown is a military veteran and a career Firefighter/Paramedic with over 25 years of experience in emergency services. He served five years as a U.S. Navy Hospital Corpsman, assigned to Marine Corps infantry platoons, with multiple deployments aboard the USS Peleliu and in Afghanistan during Operation Enduring Freedom.

After transitioning to civilian life, Nick has served in a variety of first responder roles, including EMS, Fire, and Special event stand-by. He has also been a dedicated Fire/EMS educator for over 20 years.

Nick holds a Bachelor's Degree in Emergency Services Management with a focus on Organizational Leadership. He has earned specialized certifications in Critical Incident Stress Management (CISM) for Emergency Services and has completed extensive training in peer support and crisis intervention. He has served for several years as an active Peer Support Advocate in the Tahoe area.

Having navigated his own journey of recovery from moral injury, Nick brings a deep understanding of the signs and impacts of post-traumatic stress, particularly its effects on personal relationships. Today, he focuses on peer support, emotional resiliency, and strategic crisis response for public safety professionals.
